Art forms such as painting, poetry, and drawing have heavily influenced culture and have been used by God in beautiful ways. Think of all the beautiful paintings of Christ and His world by artists like Michelangelo, DaVinci, or Francesca. Think of all the great poetry and wonderful literature about God by writers like John Donne, C.S. Lewis, or John Keats. We believe that poetry, literature, painting, sculpting, etc., are all forms of worship, and here at Northstar Church we desire to provide a place where worshippers with these gifts can develop as artists and develop as worshippers of God. We use pieces of art, poetry, photography, etc., as regular parts of our services and long to reach out to the community of artists in the Bay County area.

Drama Team
Drama is a captivating way to communicate the unchanging truth of God's Word and the life changing foundation of His principles. We incorporate drama into about 30% of our Sunday morning services. Through serious interpretation and comedic sketches we believe that God can reveal relevant and applicable truth, and that is the desire and passion with the drama ministry of Northstar Church. Whether you are an actor, script writer, set designer, stage hand, or if your into any kind of production there is a place for you.

Visual Arts Team
Visual Arts provoke conversation, draw us in, and help us envision things that seem unclear. At Northstar we believe they are a powerful tool for worship and helping to reveal the truth of God in a creative way. Our visual arts team is actively involved in our weekend services and is also very involved in the arts community here in Bay County.

Creative Writing Team
We believe that words are powerful and help us to imagine and create vision. Our creative writing team helps to bring beauty through words as an act of worship in many of our services. The team is also involved in many artistic events in the community here in Bay County.
