Jumpstart
Boardwalk ...is our small group environment for children Kindergarten - 5th Grade. This is where children learn how to study the Bible, worship through singing, and build quality friendships with other kids and adult leaders. The mission of Boardwalk is the guide each child to discover Christ's love personally so they will always understand what is really important. Boardwalk is open every Sunday at 9:30 am and 11:00 am at Tommy Smith Elementary School. Classroom doors open 15 minutes early for admission and registration.
What Happens at Boardwalk?
Children are greeted at their individual classrooms by their Host Team and small Group Leaders.
Large Group Environment
Children are moved into a large group environment. They participate in a meaningful time of worship and hear a Bible story.
Small Group Environment
Back in their classrooms, they are placed into small groups where the small group leaders build relationships with the children through discussions, activities, and prayer. Each of these activities is centered around the bottom line of the Bible story for that particular week.

Kid Venture
Three times a year we throw a huge party for Boardwalk's small groups and their leaders. It could be at Renegade Sports Center, or Karaoke, bowling, jump-n-slide, or some other way to connect leaders, parents, and kids in a great social environment. This particular event is for children (K-5th) enrolled in Boardwalk small groups and their friends.
Our next Kidventure will be July 27th from 5-7pm. 3-5 yr olds will be at Northstar and grades K-5th grade will be at Renegade Sports Center. The cost is $5. Contact for more information.
Jump Start
Jump Start is a unique presentation where parents and their kids learn what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Jump Start is a one time class developed to give parents the tools necessary to have a meaningful dialogue with their kids about how to begin their spiritual journey.
Jump Start is for children Kindergarten through 5th grade. Every child who is baptized at Northstar Church needs to attend Jump Start. Click HERE To sign up!
