Celebrate Recovery is a wonderful ministry that exists for anyone with hurts, habits, or hang-ups. The purpose of Celebrate Recovery is to experience genuine community and celebrate God's healing power in our lives through the "8 Recovery Principles". This experience allows us to be changed from the inside out.

We open the door by sharing our experiences, strengths, and hopes with one another. In addition, we become willing to accept God's grace in solving our problems. By working and applying these Biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive, compulsive, and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others.

As we progress through the program we discover our personal, loving and forgiving Higher Power - Jesus Christ, the one and only true Higher Power.

Our Christ-centered recovery program will begin in the next few months. We need individuals who have "12-step" experience or who have worked through hurts, hang-ups or habits. Please pray to determine if God is calling you to be a part of this new ministry. Celebrate Recovery meets every Thursday Night at 6pm at Lynn Haven First United Methodist Church. Check the event calendar for an exact address and map to the facilities and details on the most current meeting.
